Thermal Monitoring System

Thermal Monitoring System was designed to be an automated system that used cheap lightweight hardware to track an individuals temperature using Raspberry Pi 3 and MLX06990 thermal camera. Once activated the system records a users temperature at regular intervals and records them. Once enough data is tracked the system keeps track of the users average, and if the temp becomes too high or too low and email is sent with all the recorded data.

Design Patterns

DPproject

Java Design Patterns

This project was implementing the Design Patterns discussed by The Gang of Four, such as Abstract Factory, Bridge, Composite and many more. The programming language used for this project was Java. The classic design patterns are discussed in the Gang of Four textbook. There is flexibility to allow for scalable code. The implementations of the code vary on the individual situation, but I tried to use a variety of scenarios. Inside the link below you will see multiple folders, each titled a different design pattern concept.

Hello, My name is Joey and I am a graduate student studying computer science. I will be graduating December of 2021 with an emphasis is networking and systems. I spend my free time with Portland State Aerospace Society helping with their software needs. I have worked previously as a data specialist, where I worked with different databases, running and editing queries.
